GO AWAY, MINT. YOU’RE NOT MY REAL MOM.
I’ve been using this website called Mint to “manage my finances” since I’m an adult now. You plug in all your loans, credit cards, bank accounts and pretty much every monthly expense you have. It helps you create a budget and it tells you where you’re spending too much money. It also does this awesome thing that I call “the guilt trip” where it texts you when you exceed a budget that you set. So when I’m at Urban Outfitters for the 12th time in a month, I’ll get a “HEY YOU’VE EXCEEDED YOUR CLOTHING ALLOWANCE” text message. Usually it’s enough to make me return something but the problem is that with time, I just learned to ignore the texts.
tl;dr I have a minor shopping problem.
