Hey, I'm Veronica.

I am not a sports fan and I don’t think being a sports fan has anything to do with what happened. Their assistant football coach has been charged with 40 counts of sex crimes over a period of 15 years. 

If I were a Penn State student I would be outraged that this bullshit happened at my school and not ONE person said anything. Sandusky’s coworkers allowed this to happen. This is something to be upset over. Instead, Penn State students kept quiet and not a peep was heard from them until the school decided to fire the head coach, Joe Paterno, a day after he had so graciously announced that he would be finishing the season and then resigning. I’m glad that for once, a school stood up to their athletics department. There have been many instances of schools covering up bad behavior in their athletic departments because athletes are money makers and at most schools they are treated like gods.

So here we are, Penn State has fired their head coach…and out come the students. Protesting, rioting, flipping over news vans and being generally stupid.

So this is for all the rioting Penn State students, take a seat:
